My response to my poetry reading:
I am pleased with the pace that I read it in and thought that it was very easy to understand.
I sound almost monotone while reading the poem. I think that I have improved my pace of reading since my last poetry reading. but I am going to continue to keep that constant. \
Low Stake Writing Assignment:
My favorite form of Poetry is the Sonnet. The Sonnet allows for a sufficient poem with a great deal of detail. It is appealing to me because you can do so much with a sonnet and they are widely recognized. Since this form consist of fourteen lines it has a great deal of poetic devices in it and a lot to offer. Sonnets can also be written two different ways, which creates more that the writer can do with this form. Another appealing factor is the fact that the sonnet is about love, and has a story behind it as well.

My Reflection: I really enjoy poetry because it can teach students a wide variety of things such as life morals and I can use poetry in my classroom to one lighten the mood a little bit with a funny poem, and for educational purposes as well. poems are really easy to talk about and to discuss with the class, and I plan on having regular poetry as well. Doing The Poetry Anthology introduced me to a variety of authors, books and wonderful poems to share with the class and also helped me to discover what qualities that I am looking for in a poem. Poetry is a great way to express yourself, through just a few words and in a fun and entertaining way.
